There's no escape as long as the entire world relies on fiat currency. There has been a loud contingent of people pointing this out for decades now. Except in typical fashion, most people need something to actually happen before acting on it. Well, now that something has happened.
- lawn 5y agoUnfortunately, most cryptocurrency supporters have been more focused on increasing the fiat price (so they can cash out to fiat and become rich), than on increasing adoption so that you can spend your crypto directly. Sadly, as long as this hype fueled bubble remains, I doubt much will change.
