Flutter is shit for web stuff. Makes all non-Western language speakers 2nd class citizens and sucks for accessibility. It also sucks for extensions including language extensions and accessibility extensions. I can't believe it's gotten this far with it's stupid "ignore the browser and render everything to a canvas" BS. It's it's like literally a FUCK YOU to the a 1/3 of the world
- oblio 5y agoYou have the percentages wrong if you're splitting the World into Western/non-Western, I assume, based on if they use the Latin script or not. > In July 2020, 2.6 billion people (36% of the world population) use the Latin alphabet. If you include languages that don't use the basic Latin script (26 characters or so), it gets even worse, since 90%+ of languages that use it have extra characters.
