There's mention of regular occurrence of debt jubilees years ago in the article. If that was a thing to day what would prevent someone from racking up debt every 5 years, just to have it forgiven.
For those that don't have debt or have investment or business dependent on debt repayment? Are they expected to just take it on the chin?
- theandrewbailey 5y agoIt would discourage deals involving debt to last that long. Maybe as a society, we will understand that debt is not only bad, but toxic.
