TVs wifi squatting opens up some sketchy legal issues, that's the type of the thing company lawyers would shut down if it even made it that far. Unless of course there's an actual contract between say Comcast & LG granting authorization, but that then becomes the type of thing that should be a whole lot more probable than a random anecdote without evidence
