Things are a bit more nuanced than that and should be treated as such so that useful conversations can happen instead of two sides just calling each other names. Besides, “affirmative action is racist” doesn’t fallow from “Daniel was shafted by racism” and is attackable based only on that point. If you want to argue against affirmative action here you could say: 1) The action is taken towards a group that is already privileged (well performing university students) and is superfluous 2) That the action is more likely to build up bad feelings towards the recipients by deserving individuals that get ignored 3) That the recipients of this action can never be as secure in their achievement and will suffer doubt from outside and inside because of it Argue your point, don’t just assert it. What be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
