Yeah sorry. Most LCDs, at least up to a couple of years ago, use PWM for dimming & all OLED do AFAIK. I don't know much, to know if mini LEDs dimming in different sections mean PWM, but I suppose they might since it would be probably easier to change the speed of the rapid on&offs of some LEDs rather than the current to dim part of the screen.
