I've had similar experience with a few manufacturers before including Apple, Dell and Samsung. The repair technicians are trained to spot even the tiniest scratch on your phone and then void your warranty (in Dell's case the technician himself probably forgot to screw one of the screws back in probably as it was missing a screw the second time I sent it back for repair... Its ironic that scratches can void the warranty of a product even if the damage has no relation to said scratch. I guess its just big corps milking every dollar out.
