Interesting build. Is there a specific difference in how this works in contrast to other sudoku apps out there?

Yes, the biggest difference is that you can play a live game with friends without needing any apps or logins - just text or email a link to your game and start playing; I personally didn't find an alternative that fit these needs. I’ve played this game with strangers at a bar and with friends online during virtual parties in the last two years, doing almost 25 players at one point which was fun.
