I'm having a really hard time wrapping my head around this one. In foreign countries is one thing, but inside the White House? Options in my head:
1. Large, long-range directed energy weapon off the White House grounds that would need some advanced mechanism for aiming.
2. Smaller, shorter-range directed energy weapon that was snuck into the White House.
3. Not a malicious directed-energy weapon
- remarkEon 5y agoI have to think there’s quite an advanced suite of sensors in and around the White House. Wouldn’t something like this be easily detectable? What am I missing?
- dehrmann 5y agoIt could be directional (MASERs are a thing). You have to be looking for it. You also have to disclose if you find something.

- readonthegoapp 5y agoI used to think it was real Big elaborate stories in newspapers and magazines It's like a professional disinformation campaign run by ??? to convince ??? to ???. And it was absurd the whole time I guess But I'm still not convinced that anything is real here except growing evidence of an extremely compliant mass media
- adsteel_ 5y agoSomatic Symptom Disorder, sometimes called Psychosomatic Disorder, is defined in the DSM V and does not mean the symptoms are "all in your head". It refers to patients with a compulsive-to-the-point-of-self-damaging focus on their condition, even if that condition is a diagnosed medical condition. In other words, it's not a blank check to ignore these people. - eyelidlessness 5y agoTo emphasize this, even if somatic symptoms are rooted in mental/emotional state, they’re still real and experienced as real.
- exabrial 5y agoIIRC, the Russian Embassy in DC has a line-of-sight with the Whitehouse... This needs a fact check, corrections encouraged.
- snowwrestler 5y agoIt does not.
- simonblack 5y agoMy theory is that it's not something caused by 'adversaries' but is, in fact, a 'workplace injury'. The common denominator is that the victims are all 'Government officials', in countries all over the world. Those officials are doing something in the course of their job, or are having something done to them as part of their jobs, that the cause comes down to 'workplace injury', and the Government is trying hard not to have to accept that it may be liable for millions/billions of dollars in Workers' Compensation claims.
