RFID means those tags are writable... just figure it out and then clone it.
- userbinator 5y agoI wouldn't be surprised if they use crypto too. After all, RFID is also used for payment-card and other applications where security is necessary.
- jthrowsitaway 5y agoAs of now that increases the size, complexity, and cost of the implementation. A dumb RFID chip that returns an ID is a lot simpler and smaller package size than one that handles crypto.
