Not just land. Bank accounts and personal property were also liquidated under duress.
- dathinab 5y agoThe think is, at least in some of the US states, there are major benefits for long term land holders (wrt. property tax) and some of the land once owned by Japanese Americans became very expensive (I have heard, as it was in Silicon Valley).
