FaceID was a miracle for the two months I had my iPhone 11 before the pandemic hit. Still, the extra screen space created by removing the top and bottom bezels was well worth it. If only all the apps played nice with the home bar at the bottom: too many will register a swipe down on the bar for reachability as a tap in the app.
