The question was vague on purpose. I do not believe in any specific golden age actually, but I do believe that good ideas form the past has been forgotten. I evoked the microcosm of sun stations but others might remember good original ideas from amiga, BeOS, Vax, Alphas... Isn't it good practice to remind ourselves that alternatives did exist, that sometimes were better. Maybe some might even be revived one day, who knows.
