- jazzyjackson 5y agohow do you mean? it seems like the least amount of trouble if the alternative is writing your own platform from scratch.
- throwaway4good 5y agoYou know that it needs to scale to a non-trivial number of users from scratch. So I would design for that (ie. not use a relational database like postgresql). And you know that it is going to be controversial. So any sort of legal open source mumbojombo is going to be an issue and will be used against the project. And the federation features; that is just going to be an attack vector for spammers or hackers. Any way curious to see what it becomes, and hear how it is actually implemented, if that ever gets out.
