Apple does not recycle any components into new phones.
- aembleton 5y agoWhat do they do with them?
- Sprite_tm 5y agoLikely take it apart, recycle the metals and where possible plastics, dump the rest.
- vidyesh 5y agoI should have been more specific, they make new phones with recycled materials. They use recycled gold, tungsten, aluminum and other metals. Some of the materials are not used in new phones but older/smaller models and some iPads do use it.
