Because it is less effective to show ads on a small phone.
- benbristow 5y agoDon't know why you're being downvoted here. Maybe Mark Zuckerberg is lurking around here. It's a valid point. Less screen real estate = less space for ads.
- Nextgrid 5y agoIt's a reasonable point when you consider that the vast majority of consumer-grade software industry is "growth and engagement" garbage whose primary business model is advertising.
- fomine3 5y agoThis is important. It's not comfortable to use short height device without ad blocker because ads uses near the half of height.
