Russia’s Losing Hand in Ukraine
- celticninja 5y agoAre the Russian people happy to lose their sons, brothers and fathers just so that Putin doesn't feel inferior?
- amai 5y ago"A partial or a full invasion of Ukraine could create a new flow of IDPs and refugees, which, depending on the extent of the fighting, could involve millions of people that need humanitarian assistance, including shelter, food, and protection." "Despite this possibility, European governments have been less than proactive in conducting contingency planning. So far, leading European donors and humanitarian actors have not announced contingency plans." This doesn't look good, Europe!
- celticninja 5y agoWow amal, what are you thinking here? That the fault lies with Europe? You might want to reassess what is happening. Look how refugees heading into Russia are being treated. And remember this is the doing of Russia not Europe.
- amai 5y agoThe fault of EU is to not be better prepared for the worst. I'm not claiming the EU is responsible for the creating a refugees crisis in the first place. But it seems they seem to start thinking about these issues now: https://euobserver.com/migration/154391 https://euobserver.com/migration/154391
