It's puzzling how this theory persists, when it's so easy to disprove - simply show a graph of non-European-background population of France for 1945-2022. If it's low/flat, then the theory is false, simple as that.
In fact, journalists should do this themselves. Just like they sometimes put graphs of historic temperatures and CO2 concentrations in climate change articles, because they know a tangible measurement is far more persuasive than just namecalling deniers "conspiracy theorists", they should include historic demographic data in great replacement articles. It won't convince everyone, but it'll be a lot more persuasive than namecalling.
- version_five 5y agoIt doesn't solve the strawman problem though, I'd be more interested in evidence that this is what the person and his supporters actually believe and advocate action based on, rather than it just being an off-hand remark someone made. I've seen it a lot recently where people try to paint their opponents in the worst light possible and pretend they are all behind the most abhorrent view that can be found within the group. Evidence of what the party actually stands for (I know almost nothing about the group in this article, I asked a French person who said that their portrail is basically accurate in this case) is in general much more valuable than showing graphs
- copperwater69 5y agoFrance, we are told, has “always” been a diverse land of immigration and thus there is nothing novel at all about the Afro-Islamization of the country. In France, the shape of things to come is announced by the département (county) of Seine-Saint-Denis, which makes up the northeast suburb of greater Paris, a significant place in French history as the resting place of our kings. For Zemmour, “Seine-Saint-Denis is the symbol of this great replacement which does not exist.” Over two thirds of newborns have at least one foreign parent. Over 60% of youths are of foreign origin. But these figures are merely indicative: the administration simply doesn’t know how big the population is or how many illegal immigrants there are (estimated between 8 and 20% of the population). In the 1970s, Orthodox Serbs represented only 13% of the population. Today they are only 5%, expulsed from the capital, Pristina, confined to enclaves, as ostracized second-class citizens, when they are not persecuted, martyrized, chased out of the land of their ancestors. The ethnic cleansing is accompanied of course by a religious and cultural great replacement. Medieval churches are burned down by ecstatic Muslim crowds, mosques dripping with gold-leaf are built in their place, financed by the nabobs of Saudi Arabia and Qatar: the inexorable and cruel reality of a great replacement that does not exist. Today, around a third of newborns in France are African or Muslim. https://www.unz.com/gdurocher/how-fast-is-frances-muslim-population-growing/ https://www.unz.com/gdurocher/how-fast-is-frances-muslim-pop...
