This is a striking view of the big rivers. They keep the same order of magnitude of elevation for a very long distance.
- rootusrootus 5y agoAlso, in some areas (like Eastern Oregon, where I was looking) it really drives home how close in elevation the land is to the river. It's basically highlighting the floodplains.
