- jkaptur 5y agoGoogle Maps launched in 2005.
- jakelazaroff 5y agoSo did Writely (which would become Google Docs). WordPress was created in 2003. Wikipedia was created in 2001. I'm not sure why the web3 crew doesn't seem to think there were any legit uses for the web after 15 years.
- cehrlich 5y agoAnd MySpace in 2003, Facebook and Flickr in 2004, the list goes on. Web 2.0 produced a lot of obviously compelling things very fast. The difference is that they weren’t really using “Web 2.0” as a selling point to consumers because users care about what they can do with it, not what it’s built on.
