I'm DS and glad you asked! I find DS work similar to writing an academic paper. Generally, I work with a PM to define a question and set a deadline for an answer. I then work backwards from the deadline ideally using Asana and draft docs to provide insight into what is happening in real time.
- BPreminger 5y agoGood to hear - do you find that works well? Also out of curiosity - what type of org/company do you work in? I'm working at a startup, so also trying to gauge differences across types of orgs (public sectors vs. private, large enterprise vs. startup etc)
