- joebob42 5y agoI guess I would not see the ads, since I would refuse the qr code option. I don't bring my phone into a restaurant. In general I don't think I'd find a digital menu with ads all that much more objectionable than one without, I'm pretty desensitized to digital ads at this point.
- version_five 5y agoI imagine there is a quick slope to popover signs ups that you cant ignore, or rapidly flashing stuff or whatever advertisers use to annoy people into interacting
- nikau 5y agoYes taking up limited phone screen space when outsourcing waitstaff tasks to the customer sounds like a recipe for success. Make sure they are popups too that occur randomly as they scroll through the menu to increase their engagement. Also ensure you add in some hidden dark patterns like ticking default for donating to some sketchy charity during the payment process.
