It'll open doors to interviews at other companies. It'll likely give you a strong competing offer to take to other companies and a "sinking" Meta is still going to be better than a lot of other places. I think there are valid concerns about ethics, long term prospects, etc. But in an internship you aren't going to suffer any of those.
