In my opinion, the article states that without Facebook or Twitter, one can't have a reliable online business. He says: Many of the most valuable conversations around technology and many other fields happen on Twitter. If you’re not there you don’t really exist, especially if you’re just getting started in your field. I don't agree. I don't care about Facebook and Twitter. I USE it just a little bit, but people find my online business by other means. I believe good content and useful services always attract their users - even without sites like Facebook and Twitter. They are just tools in my eyes.
