Textmate was an inspiring piece of software when it first came out, but it barely runs under Lion (I fired it up to verify that find-in-project was as I remember, and it crashed on the way out), and still has one-character-at-a-time undo/redo which is unbearable.
- butterfi 15y agoBB Edit's multi-file search is awesome, and can also be used to search large (1 GB+) files as well.
- patrickg 15y agoI don't agree with "but it barely runs under Lion" - I use it daily for several hours and it almost never crashes.
- sigzero 15y agoI use it all the time too (on Lion) and haven't had any crashes either.
