As a bonus researchers, we can discuss the hidden costs the bitterness this breeds on those around us. Neat! Or everytime a topic like this comes up, we make a conscious effort not to engage. We put in real cognitive time to search for alternative discussion avenues. Dang, each of those precious minutes adds up. It's a real cost.
