Is there legislation in either the US or UK (or both) that prevents a testing lab from analyzing my DNA from a swab provided for the purpose of a Covid (or other) test? I had never thought about this, but it seems alarming, given that my identification is obviously associated with the swab, that a lab could unilaterally decide to analyze my DNA...
