> When buying tests, customers were asked to tick a box agreeing to a 4,876 [sic] privacy policy which links to a separate document outlining the research programme, The Sunday Times reported.
This needs to change.
- dane-pgp 5y agoThe simple non-serious solution to this is for governments to require that before a user can consent to a legal "agreement" (like a privacy policy, or an EULA) they have to have it read to them, live, by a lawyer. At 150 words per minute, that agreement would have taken half an hour to read, which lawyers would charge at least £50 for.
