Covid Won’t End Up Like the Flu. It Will Be Like Smoking

- peteradio 5y agoThe article assumes all unvaccinated are uninoculated that is on average false.
- Arnt 5y agoMaybe so. Suppose it's false. In that case, how do they become inoculated? By being ill. What does treatment of that illness cost? Practically nothing for most of them, a six-digit sum for 1-2%, which is then a four-digit sum per person on average. And with that sum in mind you can go back to the article and read the final paragraph. I like the suggestion there. Make them pay an insurance premium, the fair price for their choice.
- peteradio 5y agoI am confident that an fair actuarial assessment of what additional premium I'd owe would be negative dollars. I can confidently state that because I have no comorbidities and have already encountered the disease.
- bradknowles 5y agoHow long does that coverage last? Do you actively seek out infection with the disease every three months or is the period longer than that?
- peteradio 5y agoI can say the virus and its variants would no longer correctly be referred to as novel. That's a big deal for a very long time as far as serious illness is concerned. I do not ever seek illness.
