I agree with most of your post, but I would rephrase that sentence significantly. Not everybody is a born Casa Nova and fully comfortable in their own skin during their teenage and young-adult years. "Really easy" does not apply to everybody.
- sircastor 5y agoMaybe more appropriately, it's valuable to point out that socialization (romantic or platonic) is substantially easier in high school and college. We do not appreciate how much harder it is to meet people and form bonds until we've left those spaces.
