What would it mean to adopt the logic of the post without sending your traffic through an authenticating proxy? I thought the whole point here was to use an authenticating proxy instead of a VPN server.
- tptacek 5y agoIt would mean you shift all your access control decisions to the application layer, but don't have an intermediating proxy, which is a pretty normal modern deployment architecture.
