Personally, I think that’s fine iff it is applied consistently. If someone only calls trans people “they” but then goes on to use gendered pronouns for cis folk

Personally, I think that’s fine iff it is applied consistently. If someone only calls trans people “they” but then goes on to use gendered pronouns for cis folks, that’s definitely a form of hostility.
