Twitter’s new CEO is taking ‘a few weeks’ of parental leave
- megamike 5y agorich people can do this the rest of us nope
- rgrmrts 5y agoAll my colleagues who have had children took months (3, I think?) of paternity leave. As they should. There are a lot of decent companies with good policies around this.
- smt88 5y agoMy friend works for Salesforce, which has 6 months of parental leave. I don't think all Salesforce employees are rich.
- NiagaraThistle 5y agoWouldn't it have more to do with the company or national policy and less to do with wealth situation?
- Jxl180 5y agoI’ve yet to work at a company that didn’t have paternity leave.
- dbbk 5y agoUnless you don't live in the US.
- hstaab 5y agoGood for him. I wish more Americans valued time with their little ones enough to make this (relatively small) career sacrifice. I realize this is a luxury, though it’s one we ought to try for. I can’t imagine more parental time being bad for a nation.
