Kagi is about to go public with their search engine and it blows Google out of the water completely. I've been using it for a few weeks as my default search and its awesome.
- rightbyte 5y agoHaving a simple search engine who's purpose is to answer querries like "What is Lady Gaga's bra size" is fine from a ethical and legal standpoint. It is the ever present spying I distaste. Now Google probably have me tagged as a HN user thanks to their landing page getting a visitor spike from HN. Even if I hadn't visit the site in Chrome to check the spying effects they surely pair me with other HN readers who use Chrome.
