I find a lot of the meat substitutes to be delicious but to me the problem is the nutritional content. A Beyond patty is a great substitute for a greasy hamburger. But There’s nothing that I’m aware that can substitute for lean meat like chicken or fish.
Seitan isn’t too bad but beyond that it’s really nothing.
- girvo 5y agoHere in Australia The Meet Co's "chicken" strips are fantastic for doing things like Thai Basil Chili Chicken and so on. Even Birdseye's product is pretty fantastic, surprisingly enough.
