See this here^^ this is a toxic post. Telling someone to grow up because they have a contrary opinion.
This is the perfect illustration about how some people are blind to the toxicity on HN, because I'm almost completely sure that the person who posted the above the comment was completely oblivious to the fact that he himself was going to contribute to the toxicity.
Oh the irony.
- titzer 5y agoIt's infectious, toxicity. It keeps spreading, and faster, the more serious people take something. When you stop taking the whole thing so seriously and laugh--at yourself, first--then the tension breaks.
- deltaonefour 5y agoI guess my reply was pretty toxic too right? I called someones post toxic. Good at you for saying something that completely defused the toxicity.
