i know, sample size 1, but my roommate in college had Crohns and died at 23 from it very suddenly

  Do you mind sharing what happened (if you know)? I recently learned I have Crohn's and am trying to learn more about the things that can happen.

    The Crohn's related deaths I've read about have been from complications from surgery, extreme blood loss and suicide (people with extreme cases can't deal with the pain).

    i looked into it more and it was apparently actually unrelated to his crohns, hopefully my anecdote doesnt cause you undue stress
