One of the reasons I have a nice notebook and pen to write with is because I can enjoy getting stuff out of my head and then, probably, never returning to it again. Just a simple thing so I enjoy the act of offloading in whatever way I feel like doing (scribbling, thoughtful stuff, drawing, whatever) and then I've freed up some space in my head so I can relax. I could try the same with a notekeeping app but I feel like I have to actually maintain them, or work with their system. Not to mention, it requires screen time that I might not want. A pen and some paper has no such system so it's liberating.
