Most notes I take I never read again. That's OK, that's what archives are for. Same with mail, bills, etc. It's still useful to collect them, and in case of notes write them. Sometimes I chuck out a whole bunch of Todos just to free my mind and it never turned into regret. I think that is why all these new note taking tools and ideas are not that important; the most important bit in note taking is taking the damn note.
