Well this separation is mostly because engineers don't want to touch anything Python with a 10-feet pole, and data scientists won't touch anything else than Python. Honestly, I understand where this is coming from, and I am glad that because of your tool, data scientists are going to be less of a liability to engineers. But honestly, what I wish is that something that is not Python (anything that is strongly typed will do, seriously!) takes over data science so that we can all play ball together again.
