Multiple organizers have openly made those exact statements. You are misinformed.

Not only does this sort of flamewar contribute to destroying this place, it's not in anyone's real interest—including your own. I understand why emotions are super high on this topic, and legitimately so—but commenters here need to follow the site guidelines no matter how high their emotions are.
