- PaulHoule 5y agoAfter more than a decade of shapeshifting on or off I finally wrote the first draft of the shapeshifting manual. "Shapeshifting" is like the spirit guide meditation except you put the character on like a coat and go into the world that way. (The one thing I'm still struggling to explain is how to daydream when you are walking around. I've been doing it since I was a kid so it's second nature and at first I didn't recognize it as a "trance" but it is...) My son is annoyed by some behaviors he observes when I shift and I told him next time to speak to the character by name that I can't promise anything but maybe she will speak back.
