Where in the chart would you put FreeDOS? AFAIK it's not a direct descendant of any version of DOS on the chart but is a separate implementation.

- Fnoord 5y agoSince its 'compatible' it would sit alone, just like every other from scratch, compatible tree would. Perhaps with a notion that the source is available, FOSS licensed.
- shadowofneptune 5y agoQDOS itself was an independent implementation of CP/M. The cladogram doesn't follow cladistics as is.
