- ncmncm 5y agoAt least we now have a better idea where. Not Babylon, as usually reported, but most likely Nineveh, now Mosul. Nineveh had an elevated aqueduct long before Rome built theirs. Also: the Neo-Assyrians were notably unpleasant people, even by standards of the day.
