There's the old adage of "if you aren't paying for it, you are the product"... Mint invests so much effort in reliable data connections because harvesting that transaction data from consumers is the entire product. UI and functionality are just distractions that serve no purpose beyond getting users to click "Connect Account" at least once.

The other day I noticed my Apple Card doesn’t show up in my Personal Capital accounts - then I remembered that was one of the selling points from Apple, no tracking - still miss seeing it with my other cards
