Used to do a lot of this in Glasgow in the mid-late 00s. Certain supermarkets were the best as they plastic-wrapped everything they had. Plus it was cold out. 5 of us would head down, do the rounds, then converge on the flat to cook a massive stew that would last days. Good times.
