Cadence, et al, came up with the "OpenAccess" for circuit design databases in the early 2000's. Needless to say... it's not very open. Hopefully this is different but I'm not holding my breath.

- baybal2 5y agoIt's because they did it to counter Artisan "free IP" Artisan is now off the scene, and they have no incentive to do it properly now.
