- hinkley 5y agoI feel like this is close but no cigar. Writing well involves thinking clearly about other people. Whether I write notes to myself that are later useful is one thing. Whether anyone else knows wtf I'm talking about is a whole other kettle of fish.
- slowmovintarget 5y agoIn other words, you don't bother writing well when you write quick notes for yourself. So... cigar?
- hinkley 5y agoMost people think they're writing for other people when they're just talking to themselves, from lack of practice, lack of concern, or a mixture of both.
