Incremental compilation with "tsc -w" is instant as well, triggers automatically on file changes and does type checking too.

- nicoburns 5y ago1. It's only instant on small projects in my experience. I've worked on projects where it would take closer to 10 seconds without type checking or 30 seconds with. 2. It's a bit of a pain to have to run 2 separate processes. With esbuild you have a single watch process that does compile+run rather than a compile watch and a separate run watch.
