    He has these taxes because of his historically huge compensation plan. Can't find it but I've read somewhere the amount they've given him is on the same order of total revenue Tesla has made.

      I see. That is caused by a prenegotiated comp plan and Teslas insane valuation as a meme stock relative to its profit.
